We are seeking a dynamic Asset Liability Management Director with expertise in Indexed products, including annuities and universal life insurance. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of these products, their mechanics, and their revenue-generating aspects. This role involves close collaboration with the Investment and Product teams to analyze product cash flows and investment opportunities, enabling informed decisions on potential investment adjustments.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $135,000 – 185,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop and implement Asset Liability Management (ALM) and hedging models, and maintain their model infrastructure.
  • Contribute to model oversight across all financial, market, product/pricing, policyholder behavior, and liquidity models.
  • Validate actuarial/financial models and assess methodologies and assumptions.
  • Manage the ALM modeling function, cross-functionally work with treasury, finance, actuarial, audit, and compliance teams.
  • Run Excel/VBA macros and produce analytical results.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Significant experience developing ALM models within the insurance space.
  • Experience in a diversified life and annuity or financial or actuarial consulting firm.
  • Experience with insurance models - strong knowledge of complicated derivative instruments/hedging of annuity risk.
  • Advanced experience with Excel, Actuarial Models, and/or coding languages such as Python.
