The drug formulary is modified each calendar year on January 1. For medications that will continue into the following calendar year, please be sure to check the newest formulary to see if the medications are still listed as a preferred drug on the formulary.
Texas Groups: For fully insured employer groups issued in Texas, plan members will continue to use the formulary that was in effect on the date the group was effective until the next renewal date versus automatically switching on January 1.
Free Glucose Monitor Offer
Preferred vendors of Mutual of Omaha’s prescription drug program, Accu-chek® and OneTouch®, are now offering free glucose monitors to employees affected by diabetes and covered by the Mutual of Omaha health plan. Each vendor has more than one model. Plan members should have their health plan member ID number ready when they contact either company.
