You'll support the Sales team by putting together key information for client proposals, contributing to the achievement of sales goals, growth and profitability for the sales office and our Workplace Solutions division. 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Hourly Wage: (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
    • Sales Specialist: $24.00 - $28.85, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Senior Sales Specialist: $31.25 - $33.65, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Proposals & Rating: Handle RFPs, prepare proposals, ensure timely responses, and review proposals before presentation. Quote premium rates, coordinate with underwriting, and manage case processing tasks for new and in-force groups.  
  • Sales Support: Assist Sales staff, proactively manage quote activity, develop broker relationships to help achieve sales goals, attend meetings, and serve as a liaison among Sales staff, brokers, and business partners. 
  • Sold Cases and Enrollments: Coordinate installation processes, manage enrollment materials, and ensure paperwork accuracy. 
  • Product and Industry Knowledge: Ensure compliance with State Insurance Department regulations and stay updated on industry trends. 
  • Office Support: Perform administrative tasks such as mail handling, visitor greeting, phone answering, invoice processing, and office supply maintenance. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Proficient in Excel with the ability to use intermediate to advanced Excel functions and navigate multiple software systems. Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities at once.  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to foster positive interactions and build lasting client relationships. 
  • Committed to continuous learning, aiming to master the proposal process, gain in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, and enhance client relationship-building techniques.
