This dynamic team is responsible for activating the vision that empowers internal financial data consumers throughout the enterprise with easy access to trusted data. By curating data and enabling contemporary data consumption tools our business partners have accelerated the time to action, decision-making and analysis to help achieve our company mission: help our customers protect what they care about and achieve their financial goals. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications) 
    • Business Intelligence Developer:$66,500-$95,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Sr. Business Intelligence Developer:$74,000-$95,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Independently leads the development of holistic data products, including data discovery, data curation and semantic data model development, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder requirements are met.
  • Communicates and works effectively with stakeholders, IS partners and team members, to develop and confirm requirements, validate data product work and achieve sign-off that data product solutions are in line with stakeholder needs and strategic framework.
  • Demonstrates strong decision-making and communication skills, advocating for change, optimizing processes, and contributing to the team’s success by supporting change initiatives that impact data product development process and/or solutions.
  • Abides by team standards for development including documentation, version control, validation and automation.  Actively supports backup coverage and adapts to new ideas while encouraging others to embrace change.
  • Contributes to organizational goals by building holistic data solutions, supporting continuous learning, and aligning with the company’s mission, vision, and values to enhance customer experiences and drive innovation.
 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with data, encompassing various aspects such as data discovery, curation, analysis, management and reporting to drive business outcomes.
  • Proficient in core technical skills including SQL and programming languages such as Python and R, with the ability to utilize these tools for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and apply new technical skills, along with a track record of implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork and the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and capable of critical thinking, with a structured approach to problem-solving and an ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with semantic tools such as SSAS, PowerBI, PowerPivot, and other related platforms, leveraging these tools to build and optimize data models, reporting solutions and support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Proficient in Python, particularly in data-related applications such as Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, automation of data pipelines and data manipulation to support advanced analytics and reporting.
  • Background in data architecture or design, with experience in structuring and organizing data systems to ensure scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business needs for both operational and analytical purposes.
