Our Workplace Solutions team is seeking an experienced Business Systems Consultant to contribute to our mission of supporting and enhancing the systems that serve our group insurance products. We are looking for candidates with three or more years of business analysis experience in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)/Agile environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, ensuring that our systems deliver high-quality, reliable solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications): 
    • Business Systems Consultant I: $81,000 - $95,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.  
    • Business Systems Consultant II: $95,000 - $105,000, plus annual bonus opportunity. 
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Engage with stakeholders to conduct discovery sessions, gathering insights and understanding their needs to inform product requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. 
  • Create comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including concise meeting notes, requirement gathering, and implementation assistance.
  • Build an in-depth understanding of the department’s business processes, compliance, and workflows, and apply that knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to design and implement effective solutions that align with technical specifications and business requirements. 
  • Assist with the creation of test plans and scripts, and perform manual or automated testing for enhancements and upgrades to ensure that business, technical, and functional requirements are met.
  • Communicate and present information effectively to diverse audiences and stakeholders, utilizing both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to broaden your knowledge of Workplace Solutions and gain exposure to leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Three or more years of relevant experience in a business analysis role within a SAFe/Agile environment.
  • Proven ability to gather and document comprehensive business requirements, create process flows, and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Experience in using Behavioral Driven Development for writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Manual and regression testing experience to ensure both new features and existing functionalities work as expected, helping to identify and resolve any defects.
  • Understanding of the business and technical processes necessary to meet and exceed business objectives, with prior experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong organizational skills to deliver tasks and projects on time.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Critical thinking abilities to evaluate information and make informed decisions.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Automated testing experience using tools such as Postman, qTest, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with group insurance, including knowledge of member eligibility rules and EDI processes.
