The Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in analyzing data, identifying trends, and helping drive business decisions.  In this role, you’ll support the implementation and management of technology systems to meet business goals. It involves using your independent judgment and handling technical tasks that may be somewhat complex, contributing directly to the overall success of the company.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
    • Business Systems Analyst I:   $24.50 - $29.00/hr., plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Business Systems Analyst II:  $57,500 - $70,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Business Systems Analyst III: $66,500 - $80,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.  
  • Remote opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Collaborate with business units to gather and analyze requirements, conduct process walk-throughs, and develop actionable insights that support strategic goals.
  • Lead system testing efforts for various upgrades, to ensure that all business, technical, and functional requirements are met.
  • Maintain and optimize business systems, including creating and executing reports, managing system objects, and recommending process improvements.
  • Support vendor relationships, contribute to cost-benefit analyses, and assist with the implementation and administration of new technologies.
  • Provide consulting and training to internal and external stakeholders, helping them navigate system changes and enhancements effectively.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business Consultant, with a strong focus on business processes, compliance, and workflow analysis.
  • Experience in system testing, process walk-throughs, and system upgrades. OpenPages experience is strongly preferred.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop meaningful reports. Tableau/Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of risk, compliance, or audit functions, with the ability to apply that knowledge to improve business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working across departments and building strong relationships with both internal and external partners.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, along with a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK), and Data Management Book of Knowledge (DMBOK).
  • Knowledge of insurance products, industry regulations, and business operations, including related legislative procedures.
  • Strong quantitative, statistical, and data analysis skills, with a working knowledge of test and process automation to improve workflows and systems.
