The DevOps Pipeline team is seeking a talented Engineer to continue our support of GitHub, Gradle, Artifactory, Xray, Sonar and more. Our team’s focus is providing and supporting the systems developers use to manage and release their code.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
    • Engineer I: $95,000 - $115,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Engineer II: $110,000 - $130,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Engineer III: $125,000 - $145,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Maintains technical currency, plans tactically, and shapes short to mid-term technical vision for a superior developer experience using modern methods.
  • Collaborates across engineering, product, and other teams to identify and address delivery challenges.
  • Manages system life cycle, monitors performance, and fine-tunes for stability and efficiency.
  • Expertly troubleshoots and resolves persistent system problems identified by support teams.
  • Explores innovative system solutions through experiments and proofs of concept to improve service delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5+ years of professional experience solving challenges in development or system administration using object-oriented programming languages (Java, Groovy, or TypeScript experience required).
  • System administration experience (Must have experience in GitHub actions and workflows. GitHub enterprise preferred).
  • Experience developing unit tests and using version control.
  • Collaborative attitude and a willingness to work with team members.
  • Driven to pick up new tech through research and investigation.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • CI/CD pipelines and tooling including GitHub Enterprise Cloud Administration, Artifactory, Xray, Sonar, Consul, various IDEs.
  • DevSecOps or Site reliability engineering practices.
  • Ansible or other infrastructure as code tool chains.
