WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
- Estimated Compensation (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications)
- Application Developer: $80,000 - $100,000, plus annual bonus.
- Engineer I: $95,000 - $115,000, plus annual bonus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Under the assignment and direction of experienced software engineers, will support and maintain applications and systems for managing groups, sales, renewals, pricing, contracts, and documents within the group insurance space, ensuring integration between legacy GSAP and GAP-API systems with future-state AWS/GIFS applications.
- Responsible for analyzing and resolving user-reported, application, environmental, and infrastructure problems, and coordinates resolution activities at a team level and/or within business areas.
- Works with and manages help desk ticket queue and provides customer service to business partners through research and resolution of help desk tickets.
- Bulk of time will be spent providing production support to large user base via SQL data fixes and code enhancements. Remainder of the time will be split between maintaining systems, development of new products, and enhancements to existing products (accident, critical illness, dental, disability, family medical leave, hospital indemnity, life, vision, etc.).
- Apply software development and test automation practices using technologies such as Java (1.8+), Spring, Grails/Groovy, SQL, Mulesoft API, REST, XML/XSLT, JSON, related frameworks such as Hibernate, and DB2 database, while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and user satisfaction.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 1-3 or more years of professional development experience or equivalent, including Java (1.8+), Spring, Grails/Groovy, SQL, REST, XML/XSLT, JSON, related frameworks such as Hibernate, and DB2 database, with experience using IDEs like Eclipse and IntelliJ.
- Familiarity writing SQL queries in a multi-table DB environment (e.g., DB2 or similar).
- Exposure to automation testing frameworks (JUnit, Spock, Mockito), version control systems (BitBucket, GitHub), and CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub) to ensure high-quality code delivery.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
- Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and in a listed location.
