The Supervisor Distribution Operations will lead a team of Distribution Operations Analysts in a fast-paced, production environment and will be the escalation point for any complex questions or issues.  You'll use your strong data analysis skills to drive decision making and steer the team to continued success, and will help to create process improvements and operational efficiencies.

  • Estimated Salary: $66,500 - $86,000 plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Oversee the Producer Management team, including involvement in staffing, training, performance evaluation, and compliance. Help associates set Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART) goals that align with their personal and organizational goals and objectives.   
  • Lead cross-functional work groups, participate in strategic planning, and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, representing the department by handling unique situations. 
  • Utilize metrics and quality assurance processes to monitor and maintain standards and prepare detailed performance reports. 
  • Manage peak call and task volumes and staff allocations, collaborate with other departments to resolve all service issues and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure departmental adherence to federal and state legislation, corporate policies, and expense management objectives, while addressing and correcting procedural non-compliance. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Experience inspiring and motivating team members to achieve their best performance by planning, organizing and coordinating team activities that ensure efficient workflows. Sets clear, measurable goals for the team ensuring they are aligned to company’s objectives.    
  • Track record of identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities. Ensures team is equipped to continuously improve business processes and monitors results. Implements corrective action as necessary.   
  • Proven strategic thinking, clear communication, decision making and problem solving. Accountable for team metrics.  
  • Strong project management skills: capable of planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering complex and cross-functional projects.  
  • Experience promoting and fostering a positive, collaborative team environment. 
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Demonstrated experience serving as a supervisor of direct reports, 2+ years preferred, including experience developing talent, coaching, and creating a pipeline of future leaders and high performers.  
  • Experience analyzing data and utilizing these results to make decisions to drive the team to continued success. 
  • Experience in the insurance industry including thorough product knowledge relevant to Mutual of Omaha.
  • Adept in leading and supporting teams through change, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning and adaptability.
