As a Sr. Account Manager you’ll provide comprehensive, individualized, and responsive service to assigned key accounts, contributing to the retention of group premium income. You’ll manage the overall customer and broker relationship to maximize customer satisfaction and contribute to retention goals impacting Group Division profitability.   

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
    • Sr Account Manager $74,000 – $93,000, plus annual bonus opportunity
    • Account Executive $84,500 - $110,000, plus annual bonus opportunity

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • You will develop effective working relationships with key accounts and brokers, attend or conduct meetings with policyholders, group offices and brokers. Collaborate and partner with our internal and external teams to grow, service, and retain working relationships while building strong relationships with both internal & external business partners to further department's vision & goals.
  • Provide excellent service recovery, to include turning complaint/error situations into an advantage, delivering service from a total need level and using every contact as an opportunity to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Respond to assigned key account inquiries regarding a wide variety of topics including implementation, enrollment, billing, booklet and form requests, vendor coordination, reporting claims, underwriting, and web utilization. Inquiries may require detailed investigation or coordination with a wide range of areas throughout the company. The Account Manager is responsible for total ownership of the issue.
  • Interpret and resolve key client's complex contract and service issues with appropriate corporate areas and resolves such issues to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Investigate key account service complaints, coordinates responses to customer questions and concerns, creates customer-specific action plans and develops specific recommendations to improve customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5+ years of group benefits/ancillary account management experience
  • Excellent human relations skills with the ability to provide quality and thorough customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to think and conceptualize beyond existing barriers, methods, and practices and utilize sound and independent judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively, work under pressure, meet deadline requirements and be flexible to meet changing customer needs.
  • Ability to travel up to 30 - 50%

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
