WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: Underwriting Training Specialist III: $85,000 - $105,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.  
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training and onboarding programs, ensuring staff proficiency to enhance customer success.  

  • Continuously review and improve learning methods, providing coaching, maintaining records, and supporting new tool implementations.  

  • Develop, update, and evaluate training materials, collaborating with teams to ensure effective learning strategies. 

  • Maintain an optimal learning environment, monitoring pace, providing feedback, and preparing progress reports. 

  • Stay current on industry trends and regulations, providing expert knowledge on insurance and adult learning principles. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Experience developing effective training materials and procedures. Proficient in adult learning principles and various methodologies for effective adult learning in a hybrid environment. 

  • Knowledge of insurance industry with a broad understanding of corporate and division policies, practices and procedures. 

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills across all levels of an organization.  

  • Self-sufficient with demonstrated experience making sound decisions that contribute to operational excellence.  

  • Adept at problem solving, including the ability to work with technology and various software packages as needed. 

  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with analysis and reporting. 

  • 2-3 years of life and/or health insurance experience.
