As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our marketing technology (Martech) landscape. This position involves translating business strategies into innovative technical and information architecture solutions that align with enterprise goals. You’ll provide leadership and guidance to solution leads and collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure cohesive alignment of marketing initiatives with the broader organizational strategy. In this role, you’ll drive the onboarding, decommissioning, and optimization of the Martech stack, contribute to strategic OKR reporting and dashboard development, and lead the development of a new business capability model. By integrating technology and business objectives, you’ll enable data-driven marketing strategies that deliver measurable results, ensuring our platforms effectively support and enhance our marketing efforts.

  • Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $190,000, plus annual bonus opportunity

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead the architecture for the Brand Marketing Communication (BMC) program, working closely with business partners and solution leads within the leadership triangle to define strategy, document gaps, and align technologies with business capabilities.
  • Guide and mentor solution leads on the three component teams within the BMC program, driving the development of end-to-end architectural workflows, including strategy, roadmap, capabilities, platforms, tools, and governance processes.
  • Facilitate business capability mapping and alignment exercises, leveraging tools like Abacus diagrams and the Panorama 360 framework to evaluate current and desired states while identifying and addressing technology gaps.
  • Design and lead technical solution sessions with stakeholders, documenting gaps, creating conceptual designs, and providing innovative recommendations for new technologies to enhance marketing and sales processes.
  • Oversee onboarding workflows for new technologies, vendors, and software solutions, ensuring compliance with legal, risk, finance, and other approval processes (e.g., the ZIP process).
  • Define and implement best practices, guidelines, and integration methods for omni-channel marketing and technology platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise solutions and promoting process, automation, and data governance.
  • Research emerging technologies, monitor trends, and perform discovery of new tools to deliver innovative, technically-focused solutions that enhance marketing strategies and business outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 10 or more years of experience, with a demonstrated expertise in architecture across multiple domains (e.g., enterprise, data, infrastructure, cloud, security, or user experience) with the ability to perform complex architectural functions independently.
  • Proven ability to align technical strategies with business goals, leveraging deep business acumen and understanding of marketing and sales technologies to drive value.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal skills with the ability to guide solution leads, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional leadership team.
  • Advanced skills in developing and applying architecture principles, frameworks, and models to facilitate business capability mapping, gap analysis, and the alignment of technologies to strategic goals.
  • Experience researching, evaluating, and recommending innovative technologies, emerging trends, and potential industry disruptors, and guiding them through onboarding and compliance processes.
  • Effective communicator with exceptional presentation skills, able to simplify complex architectural concepts through visualization (e.g., models, diagrams) and gain buy-in for change.

PREFERRED:

  • 5 or more years of experience working with marketing, sales, lead lifecycle management, and data-driven insights.
