The I/S Enterprise Self-Service Enablement team is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to serve as an administrator and concierge for our enterprise level, business-facing reporting and analysis technologies.  The team is responsible for modernizing, developing and supporting our reporting and analytical technologies to facilitate and enable self-service for our data analysis developers and users.

  • Estimated Salary: $105,000 - $135,000, plus annual bonus opportunity

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Perform administration, integration, and support of enterprise-level, business-facing reporting and analysis technologies. 
  • Assist users of our tools by providing best practices, mentoring, and training for knowledge sharing and improvements. 
  • Foster strong relationships with IS teams that support our servers, laptops/VDIs, and databases as extensions of our core team in service to our tool users. 
  • Manage and scale systems to meet business demands by providing a stable and secure infrastructure. 
  • Evaluate vendor-supplied software packages and make recommendations to IT management. 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • At least five years of experience with third-party vendor software administration and support for data reporting/analysis technologies, including: 
    • A variety of data analysis technologies (such as Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS), Posit, SAP BusinessObjects, and Sigma) 
    • A variety of platforms (Linux, Windows, VMWare, AWS) 
    • A variety of RDMSs (such as Snowflake, SQL Server, Teradata) 
    • Cloud integration 
  • Proficiency in Python scripting. 
  • Infrastructure as code tools experience (Ansible preferred). 
  • API management and integration experience.

  • Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico. 

PREFERRED:

  • Experience mentoring others in best practices for data reporting and analysis. 
  • Strong understanding of business functions and processes related to data usage. 
  • Microsoft PowerBI administration experience.
